We would love to communicate with an expat living in Cuenca.

My husband and I are in our late 60's. We are both retired. And, actively involved in many things.
I have been looking at Cuenca as a place to relocate from the U.S.
As we all know costs are rising here at a very fast rate.
We would both love to have our retirement funds go as far as possible without giving up a pleasant lifestyle. I think just about anyone would agree with that one.

I have travelled to many countries in South America, and have loved it all. I have, unfortunately, not been to Cuenca or Ecuador. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the political stability of the country. And, if there is enough cultural life to keep interest.

We are planning on coming to Ecuador in June, and wonder if that is a good time to come. Actually, I prefer to see it not in it's glory, but what it is like to live there when it's not. Could someone enlighten me on the best and the worst time of year.

I would very much love to hear from anyone who could give us a little help, and that we may be able to see when we come. Thank you. I look forward to hearing from you. melody & bill fischer
