What If You're a Sports Fan?

by Kay

My husband, daughter and I are planning a trip to Cuenca in the spring of 2013. We are very intrigued with the possibility of relocating to Ecuador and we're excited about visiting to see what it's all about!

The one thing that is an issue with my husband is that he is a huge sports fan, and he's very concerned about not being able to see Green Bay Packers games, or watch the White Sox, not to mention all other sports throughout the year!

We all would love to know that there are tons of other American sports fans in Cuenca, and that giving up sports, as we know it, is not a prerequisite for moving to Ecuador. Help!

Cable

DirecTV and TVCable have a decent sport channel selection, so you must get one of those cable services when you're in Ecuador.

You can always get it on cable. I wouldn't say tons of sport fans but a few in the bars. Ecuadorians are mostly interested in soccer and are huge soccer fans.
