After researching rentals in the area, it seems that sharing rent will allow a larger and better located condo, apartment or house, with more than sufficient room for two. Wanted: furnished place to rent for up to 6 months

My husband and I are Canadians that are retiring to Cuenca on November 1st. We are looking for somewhere to rent while we look for a place to buy. We would like something with 2 bedrooms at a total cost of less than $500 per month including the utilities and internet. It must be fully furnished as we are bringing only our clothes! We have 2 cats that have had all 4 feet de-clawed. They are purebred,indoor cats, but they do like to sit in the sun, so we need either an apartment on the second floor or higher that has a balcony or a house with an enclosed patio so that they can have the outside experience but not be able to run away.

We would like to be fairly close to el centro and a grocery store/market as we are not planning to buy a car. Being close to a bus stop would be great.

We start our Spanish lesson in September, but have limited Spanish right now. We do have a translating program, so we can read any Spanish replies.
