I am a registered nurse hoping to retire in Ecuador in the next few years. I don't want to work as a nurse but would be interested in teaming with an English speaking Ecuadorian to develop a curriculum for nursing aids that is expanded beyond what they teach in the US. Is there a market for such services. Would like to be as silent a partner as possible and make this an Ecuadorian project as much as possible. Not interested in getting rich, just spending time to try and provide the country with trained medical personnel as I believe that everybody has the right to affordable, decent healthcare, unlike many here in the states. Any information about processes, government issues, and any other information that would help or hinder my long term project would be very much appreciated. I speak passable Spanish, enough to meet the basic needs of living but am far from fluent. Reading and writing are not yet in my sphere of knowledge. Thank you again for this service.
