Working on hydro system

17th January, 2013

I would like to find folks to communicate with who are living or moving to Ecuador. I like nature and quiet so my interest would be to find something outside of a city where I can build a small home. If anyone has experience buying property and building or know people who do I would like to be in touch. By the way, I am an experienced builder and I have lived off the grid and have developed alternative power systems. Looking forward to any thoughts and ideas. Jay jay.cooper@yahoo.com

Hi Jay,
I am also from Oregon, although it has been awhile since I lived there. Anyway; I'm moving to Ecuador in August 2013 and am also looking for a quiet lifestyle in a small community. Am starting out by renting a small garden apartment in Cotacachi for at least the first month. If you would like to get in touch, please e-mail me at gayles_ak@yahoo.com It would be great to have someone to chat with and exchange information, ideas and experiences.
I am a single female, 60s, active and healthy. Interested in frienships, not a relationship.
Gayle

Hi,

That is more than enough to qualify for a retirement Visa in Ecuador. Unless you live humidity, Ecuador should be your choice!

To Jay Jay Cooper.
Tried to send info to the email you gave but couldn't. Even took out the space and still wouldn't go.

If you publish your email just as it has to be, I'll try again. Otherwise send an email here and I'll send it as reply: paar1942@gmail.com.

place of retirement
by: louis

My wife and I are considering retirement in Equador within a year. We have read that a government approved retirement such as S.S is required. We will have over $2000.00 coming in per month through a retirement plan thru a small private religious organization. Will Equador approve this or should we look at Panama which does approve most retirement plans? Louis
