Retire
in Ecuador is unique as it
is about our journey into Ecuador
from Australia.
Hi
my name is Dixie and my husband and I
moved to Ecuador in September of 2008. We
hope you enjoy reading about our trials and tribulations and our
exciting
escapades.
A
lot of the focus is on Cuenca,
the third largest city. Cuenca is where we lived for almost three
years and
we
were also fortunate to have lived on the
coast in 2009 for a few months.
We do not claim to
be
professional advisors and therefore please seek your own independent
advice
when re-locating to any country. Our pages and Newsletters
are generally
of our personal experiences and any facts or figures that are
shown on our
pages have been approved by the authors. Our website is FREE to read
and also
FREE for subscribers. Please SUBSCRIBE
if you
wish to share our path to retirement.

I
am your webmaster and built
this website in January of 2008 at the beginning of our
journey. I never imagined that this website would become so popular or
that I would experience such a journey. Thanks to all of our
Ecuadorian friends for your help and support in the three years we
lived in your beautiful country. Also thanks to the expats
who we became very close to. You know who you are.
May you all have a wonderful life in Ecuador.

My journey continues but not in
Ecuador.
Chao for now Dixie
