Frank
Thibault was born and raised in a small country town just outside of
Ottawa, Canada. He
has lived here all his life but had a passion for travel.
Franks’ travelling
adventures started in 2002 when he backpacked through South Africa.
At the time his family and friends thought he was crazy but it turned
out to be life changing for Frank.
He
has since travelled to Dominican Republic, Mexico, Costa Rica and
Ecuador. After
visiting Costa Rica Frank thought that he would return and invest in
property. After
many trips back to Costa Rica he decided that it was too expensive.
In
2007 Frank wanted to visit Kenya but his travel agent suggested that it
would not be a good idea as there was some unrest in Africa at the time
so she suggested Ecuador as she thought it would appeal to
Frank’s sense of adventure.
“Where the heck is
Ecuador”, he replied.
The
first trip was for two weeks and he and his friend fell in love with
this beautiful South American country.
After returning to Canada he
could not wait to come back and revisit as he found it to be such a
wonderful diverse country.
Now
after several trips back to Ecuador Frank has invested in a coastal
development which is a progressive urbanization, of 59 hectares,
carried out by a group of Canadian investors.
