More Ecuador Properties that were For Sale

Below is one of the properties we had seen on the internet before going to Ecuador.  We arranged to take a trip to see this property which is approximately 30 minutes outside of Cuenca.

The property consists of 25 acres with two running streams and a reservoir.  It has 8 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, swimming pool, separate guest house that would sleep six, private chapel and the most beautiful views over the valley.

The price they were asking was $230,000.00.  A bargain for sure.  We were very interested as it would have been ideal for a Health Retreat.  The house had been inherited and had also been a little neglected over the past 12 months.

So why did we not buy it.  For us it was beautiful but a little isolated.  I think if we would have the language under our belt and also know the lay of the land better it could be a possibility.

The roads in Ecuador are sometimes very primitive and to get to this beautiful property a helicopter would probably have been ideal.

The last we heard a group of Nuns were enquiring and quite honestly it would be ideal as it came with a Chapel and plenty of privacy.

But it is a spectacular property.
