Accommodation while we were in Ecuador

Accommodation for me as a female is very important.  So how lucky were we that we found this fabulous apartment in Cuenca which we rented for two months.  It has everything that we could have possibly wanted, living in another country.

This apartment is in Cuenca, Ecuador in the centre of town.  Modern, and very affordable at $400 USD per month.  With this you get cable TV, internet, self contained kitchen, and a beautiful young lady by the name of Magdelina who services your apartment once a week.  She also does a load of washing and ironing which is included in the price.

To us the above was absolutely priceless. 

On top of all that our landlord Juan Heredia was fantastic.  Juan his beautiful wife and son live on the same property.  Juan and his family were extremely hospitable.  A bonus is that he also speaks very good English and he owns his own tour operating business.  So not only do you get great accommodation you have a local Ecuadorian on hand if you need assistance.
