The new Mariscal Sucre International Airport was opened on the 19th of February, 2013. It is located about 18 kilometers east of Quito, Ecuador in the Oyamburo plain which is near the town of Tababela.

From clouds to coast – the new passenger train from Quito to Guayaquil
